Entering Mosque

When entering the mosque

1
Abu Dawud (466)

A'udhu billahil-'Adhim, wa bi-Wajhihil-Karim, wa sultanihil-qadim, minash-Shaytanir-rajim.

I seek refuge with Allah the Magnificent, by His Noble Face and His Eternal Authority, from Satan the accursed.

Virtue

Whoever says this upon entering the mosque, Satan says: 'He is protected from me for the rest of the day.'

Muslim (713)

Bismillah, was-salatu was-salamu 'ala Rasulillah. Allahummaf-tah li abwaba rahmatik.

In the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

Virtue

The Prophet ﷺ taught to say this supplication when entering the mosque, stepping in with the right foot.
