After the meal
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
Alhamdulillahil-ladhi at'amani hadha wa razaqanihi min ghayri hawlin minni wa la quwwah.
Praise be to Allah who fed me this and provided it for me without any power or strength from me.
Virtue
Whoever says this after eating, his past sins will be forgiven.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ غَيْرَ مَكْفِيٍّ وَلَا مُوَدَّعٍ وَلَا مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ رَبَّنَا
Alhamdulillahi hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fihi, ghayra makfiyyin wa la muwadda'in wa la mustaghnan 'anhu Rabbana.
Praise be to Allah, abundant, good and blessed praise. It is not insufficient, nor neglected, and we cannot do without You, our Lord.
اللَّهُمَّ أَطْعِمْ مَنْ أَطْعَمَنِي وَاسْقِ مَنْ سَقَانِي
Allahumma at'im man at'amani wasqi man saqani.
O Allah, feed the one who fed me and give drink to the one who gave me drink.
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيمَا رَزَقْتَهُمْ وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ
Allahumma barik lahum fima razaqtahum, waghfir lahum warhamhum.
O Allah, bless them in what You have provided for them, forgive them and have mercy on them.
Virtue
Supplication for the host who offered you food.
أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ، وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ، وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ
Aftara 'indakumus-sa'imun, wa akala ta'amakumul-abrar, wa sallat 'alaykumul-mala'ikah.
May the fasting break their fast with you, may the pious eat your food, and may the angels pray for you.
